Bérard Ice Climbing Area
The Bérard ice climbing area is an artificial site dedicated to ice climbing, located in the Chamonix Valley. Specially developed for winter use, it offers ideal conditions for ice climbing from late December to early March, depending on weather conditions.
Access to the site is available by reservation only.
Your financial contribution helps maintain the site, which required significant development work to ensure both safety and quality.

Proper gear and specific experience in ice climbing are essential to access and climb safely.
Reservations are mandatory for all users.
Groups of more than 10 people must contact the site managers in advance, so that a dedicated sector can be assigned to them.
